Empowering Growth Through Connection, Movement, and Nervous System Resilience-one person, team, and community at a time.
We believe everyone deserves to feel safe, connected, and empowered. To support this, we offer tools like the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), mindfulness, sensory processing, yoga, myofascial release, strength training, and movement practices that help regulate the nervous system and build resilience. Our inclusive, strengths-based, and neurodiverse approach supports emotional and physical growth for families and communities throughout different stages of life, whether recovering from health challenges or navigating transitions in motherhood, menopause, or other life changes.

Alignment Through Awareness
We believe alignment isn't about changing who you are; it’s about recognizing what is possible and adapting to those changes so you can do the things you love, need, and want to do.
With over 35 years of experience, we are a holistic occupational therapy practice dedicated to supporting both neurotypical and neurodiverse individuals. Using a strengths-based approach, we help regulate the nervous system, uncover each person’s unique abilities, and gently move through barriers, fostering greater engagement, confidence, and participation in daily life.

Sensory Alignment
“Before my appointment, I didn’t know what to expect. I had taken Yoga and other meditation classes before, but nothing that used sound to heal. At the beginning of the appointment, Heidi explained the process that she would be going through during the session and gave me background information on her methods. As soon as she started with sound therapy, I felt my body and mind relax. My favorite part was going through all the sounds associated with the body. I felt so good afterward that I immediately scheduled another appointment for the next week. This has decreased the time that I have spent procrastinating on assignments and tossing and turning at night, which has enhanced my college experience. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I look forward to continuing my sound journey with Heidi.”

Mindfulness in the Classroom
“I better understand how to use the mindfulness tools provided to me, as an educator, and my students by Heidi. My students are better equipped with life skills now and in the future. I’ve noticed a really big movement in how each student responds to one another after a mindfulness session. They’re more positive in the way that they bounce back from a stressful and challenging situation and a lot more resilient. They now have their tools, and it’s been amazing to witness their newfound self-awareness. They recognize the physical symptoms that happen inside their bodies, and they know that their brains need those tools and strategies to calm down. These tools have been used during testing sessions to provide them with a sense of centering their energy to be successful.”

Virtual Meditation & Sensory Alignment Therapy
“The sound meditation was very comfortable and soothing. It provided much needed release of stress from my day-to-day life. It decreased my head pressure and relieved my sinus issues. I immediately felt my sinuses drain and felt relaxed and calm by the end of the guided meditation and sound journey.”

Wellness in the Workplace
I want to highlight how concrete my fieldwork experience in mental health with you was as a new clinician. When the pressure is on and priorities have to be drawn, it's remembering that stable wellness is the goal. It helps me to apply occupational therapy frames of reference to my clients, but also the building and organization with which we have a partnership, and to treat the two as nested dolls of context that ultimately loop into my client's needs, progress, and challenges. For this reason, occupational therapists make fantastic leaders; they can consider multiple bidirectional contexts and properly assess how and where to apply force to promote change toward wellness. Thank you so much for facilitating an amazing experience, and I have no doubt that the information and experience you openly shared will continue to manifest growth, learning, and professional development. - Josh F., clinician and former fieldwork student
