With more than 35 years of experience, I am a holistic occupational therapist and mother of three, passionate about helping people of all abilities thrive. As a trauma-informed practice with a neurodiverse and sensory approach, Align OT creates personalized, community-based programs and shares our insights and resources with the community via the W.E.L.L. Matters Podcast, the Meeting Your Needs radio show, published stories, and with our community partners, LI Strive and Picasso Art Studio.

Our expertise includes certifications in JFB Myofascial Release, trauma-informed yoga, 500-hour yoga instructor, AFAA Group Fitness, NASM Women's Fitness Specialist, GGS Pre- and Postnatal Coaching, Neurographica Specialist Coach, and the Stepping On Program.  Heidi’s sensory alignment facilitation program helps clients make transformative shifts in mind and body, fostering deeper awareness and alignment for more creative, meaningful, and positive outcomes using evidence-based practices, such as Unyte Safe and Sound listening protocol and the Brief Action Plan (BAP) approach.

We specialize in emotional and physical performance through nervous system regulation and self-awareness. We bring science and creative movements together to support you where it matters most: doing the things you love, want, and need to do.
